Scrubs

Josh Richardson (at DET- $4,900 on DK; $6,100 on FD): Richardson is a steal on DK at his salary. The Pistons aren’t a great team and if Joel Embiid doesn’t end up playing for the Sixers, it’ll open up the game for everyone else. Also look towards Al Horford if Embiid is out as he should be in for a big game. With or without Embiid, Richardson’s DK price is too good to pass on.

Markelle Fultz (at ATL – $4,400 on DK; $4,900 on FD): It was one game, but if Fultz is going to remain healthy and look like that, there is good reason to take him. He’s a better option, at least gives you a higher ceiling, than Augustin. The pace Atlanta plays at certainly benefits Orlando and Fultz as well.

Ivica Zubac (at PHO – $4,200 on DK; $4,700 on FD): Suns on a back-to-back and Zubac is a punishing player to be up against for a frontcourt that didn’t expect to play so many minutes so early. As mentioned on the last slide, stacking Clippers and finding value with their depth guys is a great option right now.

Bryn Forbes (vs. WAS – $4,100 on DK; $4,000 on FD): Forbes was a consistent option last season for the Spurs and his salary is great given his upside. He had a very good outing in the first game of the season, will continue to see minutes, and goes up against a Wizards team on a back-to-back. It also helps that the Wizards bench isn’t all that good.

Tristan Thompson (vs. IND – $5,700 on DK; $6,000 on FD): Thompson is always a double-double candidate, and even though he’s up against a good Pacers frontcourt, he’s proven he can get his points and rebounds. He’s a much stronger option than Gasol, Favors, or Carter who are all around the same salary.
