Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Philadelphia at Detroit
7:30 p.m. ET: Orlando at Atlanta, Boston at New York
8 p.m. ET: Toronto at Chicago, Indiana at Cleveland, New Orleans at Houston
8:30 p.m. ET: Washington at San Antonio
9 p.m. ET: Sacramento at Utah
10 p.m. ET: LA Clippers at Phoenix

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Trae Young (vs ORL – $8,800 on DK; $9,000 on FD): Trae Young put on a show in his season debut, picking up where he left off last season. I like him more than Beal and Booker, both of whom have a similar salary, if not higher. He’s always a double-double threat and the three-ball helps you in DK.

Kemba Walker (at NY – $8,200 on DK; $8,200 on FD): Kemba looked more like himself against the Raptors and now he walks into a matchup with the Knicks, at the Garden. It’s a back-to-back for both teams, which means things could get a little sloppy. But it’s early and Kemba has takeover ability.

Lou Williams (at PHO – $6,800 on DK; $6,900 on FD): The season is young, but stacking Clippers seems like a pretty good idea right now. The Clippers bench, which was already great, is rolling again and the Suns are on a back-to-back. Williams remains at a great price given his production.

Pascal Siakam (at CHI – $8,500 on DK; $8,800 on FD): Siakam is already on another level this season and the Bulls won’t be the team to slow him down. The scoring should be there and expect him to flight with a double-double as well.

Domantas Sabonis (at CLE – $7,500 on DK; $8,000 on FD): Sabonis showed why he made some big bucks prior to the season starting. He’s a handful at center or power forward and is a double-double threat as well. The Cavaliers are not good and Sabonis should come up with a lot of missed shots.
