DraftKings Showdown: Flex

Aaron Rodgers – $12,000

After throwing five touchdowns against a woeful Raiders secondary, Rodgers got a massive price bump to 12k on this slate. With Chris Jones out, Rodgers and this passing game should have more time to operate. The downside is that Davante Adams will be out again. In the two games that Rodgers did not have Adams or play the Raiders, Rodgers threw just two touchdowns . With Adams out and his receivers struggling to get separation, I will be underweight on the field with Rodgers as he should be one of the highest owned players. Be sure to include Rodgers in your flex with all Packers pass-catchers in at Captain.

Marquez Valdes-Sctantling – $7,600

With Davante Adams out again, MVS and Geronimo Allison will look to shoulder the load of this passing attack. A disappointing season thus far for MVS who has had a great opportunity to become a dependable every down receiver. He currently has the highest season snap total of any player on this Packer offense at 77% but has only touched the ball on 6% of those snaps (23). In the last three weeks with Adams out, he has only seen a high of four targets and eight total during that stretch. At $7600, I will be underweight on MVS Sunday night as he doesn’t see enough volume to justify the price. I will likely only have him included in builds that have Rodgers.

Matt Moore – $8,000

One of the better values on this slate will be Matt Moore as he is 4k less than Aaron Rodgers. While Matt Moore is never going to get confused for Patrick Mahomes, he has an array of weapons on this offense to be more than efficient in a one game sample size. He also has one of the best offensive minds in the league with a few extra days to prep helping him with his transition from the sidelines to under center. I am not expecting this offense to fold up shop because Mahomes is out, they will attack this Packer defense and Moore has more than enough talent to get a few Chiefs receivers into the end-zone. I would be looking to pair up both quarterbacks with multiple pass catchers in those shoot-out slate builds.

Jamaal Williams – $6,400

After out playing Aaron Jones two weeks ago, Williams saw his snap-count drop back down to 40% last week. He was out touched 16-to-7 by Jones and is the number two back in this offense. While Williams will never dominate Jones in touches, he is more than capable of seeing 10 plus touches in a game offering value at just $6400.

Jimmy Graham – $6,200

Another player that should see more of a target share with Adams out is Jimmy Graham. His volume much like MVS’s has been disappointing thus far as he has only seen 12 targets in the past three games without Adams. It will take a touchdown or two from Graham to break this slate, but like MVS I prefer to include him in builds with Rodgers.

Mecole Hardman – $5,400

If Sammy Watkins is out, I will want a decent amount of shares of Hardman as he is going to be on the field in the slot for roughly 50% of snaps. If Watkins is in, I would cut my percentage in half as it is still likely Watkins tweaks his injury as he is accustom to doing. I would look for specialized packages for both Hardman and Hill to get some easy completions for Moore early to boost the confidence of this offense.

Demarcus Robinson – $4,200

This is a tricky spot for Robinson as he has yet to play in a game with both Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill healthy for its entirety. While he has played over 80% of snaps in every game this season, I believe this will be cut in half should both play Sunday night. If Watkins is out, I will want more shares of Robinson than Hardman. If Watkins is in, he becomes a pivot play for those lineups that do not include Hill or Watkins only.
