DraftKings Showdown: Cheap Options

Allen Lazard – $4,600

One player who continues to come on and has all of the support from his quarterback is Allen Lazard. He saw 85% of the snaps last week after coming in and performing down the stretch against the Lions. If he continues to see 70% or more of snaps, he will be my favorite Packer receiver to pair with Rodgers till Adams returns.

Marcedes Lewis – $600

Only a dart throw should you need some salary savings as he is unlikely to see more than a couple of targets each week. He will be in on goal-line packages offering touchdown upside but he is no more than a sprinkle for me.

Ryan Grant – $200

If he is active, Grant will be someone that I take a look at. It is clear that this group of receivers struggles without Adams. He has had productive years in Washington and could be a slot receiver that stabilizes this receiving corp.

DraftKings Showdown: Special Teams / Defensive Flex Options

Harrison Butker – $3,400

Kansas City was scoring a touchdown on only 48% of their trips inside the red-zone with Patrick Mahomes, how does this improve without him. At $3400, Butker offers value on this slate.

Mason Crosby – $3,800

The Packer offense has been excellent in the red-zone scoring a touchdown on 65% of their trips. At $3800, Crosby offers value on this slate

Packers – $4,400

Matt Moore hasn’t started a game since November of 2017, always worth a few shares of the opposing defense with that big of a layoff.

DraftKings Showdown: Game Script Thoughts

The Chiefs opened as a four point favorite, since the Mahomes injury that line has moved eight points as the Packers are now a four point favorite. The total also has seen some movement as it opened at 48 and is down to 47.5. While I project both teams to have success running the football in this game, there is little to no value in the total. I like the Chiefs at home with Matt Moore to cover the 4 points in a close ball game.
