Scrubs

Jevon Carter (at GS – $3,400 on DK; $4,000 on FD): Carter remains a steal at this price given the way he’s playing right now. Maybe it’s a fluke run, but at this salary he’s not going to hurt you and he’s up against an awful Warriors defense with an even worse bench unit. Carter should get his with ease.

Mitchell Robinson (at ORL – $5,300 on DK; $6,100 on FD): Robinson has been consistent and that does count for something. The Magic have been solid defensively, but the Knicks play hard and Robinson, even in limited minutes, makes an impact. He’s a better option on DK with the salary.

Landry Shamet (at UTA – $4,400 on DK; $4,100 on FD): Shamet is another low salary guy who is going to get minutes on a very good Clippers team and find a way to make an impact. The Jazz is a strong team but Shamet is surrounded by very good players and doesn’t need much to at least give you value and then some.

Davis Bertans (vs. HOU – $3,700 on DK; $4,000 on FD): Bertans can be inconsistent but he gets his looks in the Washington offense and I’m still not sold on the Houston defense given the level of competition they’ve played. Bertans will get shots as Washington needs the three-ball to hang with the Rockets. He’ll make them count.

Fred VanVleet (vs. DET – $6,100 on DK; $7,000 on FD): A very good salary on DK compared to FD. VanVleet is off to a strong start, picking up where he left off in the playoffs. The Pistons are all over the place and VanVleet offers more value than guys above him like Rozier and Paul.
