Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: Brooklyn at Detroit, Denver at Orlando
8 p.m. ET: Phoenix at Memphis, Minnesota at Washington
8:30 p.m. ET: Charlotte at Golden State
10 p.m. ET: Philadelphia at Portland

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Bradley Beal (vs. MIN – $9,700 on DK; $9,900 on FD): No Karl-Anthony Towns will give Beal easier looks at the rim since Towns has become good defensively. And despite the defensive issues in Washington, their offense is humming along nicely. Don’t be shocked to see Beal at the top of the scoring list once the night is over.

Ben Simmons (at POR – $8,700 on DK; $9,500 on FD): No Joel Embiid is a boost for just about every Sixers. I also like Al Horford and Tobias Harris more. But Simmons gets a spot because his rebounding will be up and he’s the offensive initiator for the Sixers. He’s also riding a luck high because I have no idea how he wasn’t suspended for putting a guy in a rear naked choke.

Andrew Wiggins (at WAS – $7,100 on DK; $6,600 on FD): Sensing a theme? No Towns means Wiggins will have to carry the scoring load for Minnesota. It might not look pretty and it might take him 50 shots, but he will likely take 50 shots. The Wizards defense doesn’t inspire much confidence either.

Kyle Lowry (at MIL – $8,100 on DK; $8,200 on FD): The Bucks are on a back-to-back, and even though they got some rest in a blowout, travel plays a factor as well. Lowry has been a consistent option this season and he’s extremely comfortable in the Raptors system. I like him over guys like Lillard, Vucevic, and Russell.

Thomas Bryant (vs MIN – $7,200 on DK; $7,700 on FD): I typically don’t like going with two players on the same team in these slides, but Bryant, like Beal, looks too good to pass up on. No Towns is going to make Bryant’s job much easier in the paint and he seems like a guaranteed double-double.
