Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for tonight:

7 p.m. ET: New York at Detroit, Washington at Indiana
7:30 p.m. ET: Chicago at Atlanta, Golden State at Houston, Sacramento at Toronto
8 p.m. ET: Minnesota at Memphis
8:30 p.m. ET: Orlando at Dallas
9 p.m. ET: Philadelphia at Utah
10 p.m. ET: Milwaukee at LA Clippers

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Karl-Anthony Towns (at MEM – $10,000 on DK; $11,100 on FD): KAT is back and will look to get busy against the Grizzlies. He’s the fourth-highest salary on DK and I like him to end up at the top scorer on the night. He’s refreshed and was playing excellent prior to the suspension. The Grizzlies are average against the position and don’t have a real option to slow him down.

Russell Westbrook (vs GS – $9,400 on DK; $10,300 on FD): Westbrook was off against Miami and then sat the next game. This isn’t the Warriors of light-years and despite their effort against Portland, they remain an average at best team. Expect Westbrook to bounce back against the outing against Miami with a triple-double effort in this one.

Malcolm Brogdon (vs. WAS – $8,100 on DK; $9,000 on FD): It’s a back-to-back for the Pacers, which is slightly concerning, but fortunately they’re up against the Wizards defense, which makes this more tolerable. Brogdon has been excellent this season and will continue to run the show for the Pacers. He should carve up the Wizards defense.

Thomas Bryant (MATCHUP – $6,800 on DK; $7,400 on FD): With the Pacers frontcourt being banged up, Bryant should be in for a strong night. He’s an inconsistent player but his ceiling is extremely high and this feels like a big game for him. I like him much more than someone like Julius Randle or Jeremy Lamb.

Eric Paschall (at HOU – $6,500 on DK; $6,900 on FD): It’s possible Paschall crashes at some point but the Rockets have shown no real ability to play defense this season and Westbrook returning to the lineup doesn’t exactly help in that area. He is on a tear right now and someone has to keep getting numbers for the Warriors.
