Scrubs

Luke Kennard (vs NY – $6,000 on DK; $5,500 on FD): Point Kennard continues to deliver for the Pistons and that should be the case once again against the Knicks. He’s done well with the extra responsibility, continuing to score while picking up rebounds and assists. He remains under the salary line as well, providing good value.

Isaiah Thomas (at IND – $5,300 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Thomas is a starter once again and though his production didn’t translate against Detroit, expect it to be better against the Pacers, who are on a back-to-back. The assist numbers are there, which is a big help and the scoring will tick up as offense hasn’t really been an issue for the Wizards.

Patrick Beverley (vs MIL – $4,900 on DK; $5,400 on FD): This feels like a Patrick Beverley game. Having Kawhi sit certainly hurts because it puts more attention on everyone else, but Beverley is going to compete regardless and against a team like the Bucks, it feels like a game where he impacts in multiple ways. I could be totally wrong, of course.

P.J. Tucker (vs GS – $4,500 on DK; $5,400 on FD): Tucker typically thrives against the Warriors. Maybe that changes since these Warriors aren’t THE Warriors. But Tucker typically makes it happen with his rebounding and three-point shooting. He’s a guy who won’t hurt you with this salary given his usual minutes.

Dillon Brooks (vs MIN – $4,900 on DK; $4,400 on FD): Brooks, at worst, has been a consistent player. And at best has been well over value. The Timberwolves will get a boost with Towns back in the lineup but Brooks is at a salary where he’s not going to hurt you given his salary and he certainly gets the minutes and opportunities to be a productive player.
