Defenses to Start and Sit

Start:

Indianapolis Colts Defense vs. MIA

The Indianapolis Colts defense has been immediately launched into the must-start category with their upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins this Sunday. As we all know, the Dolphins are in tank mode and are vying for that number one draft pick this April. Last week was an exception to the rule as they defeated their bitter rivals the New York Jets in a toilet bowl match. Now with that out of the way, the Dolphins will likely go back to their losing ways come Sunday against the Colts. As long as the defense can have a pulse, Indianapolis should have a solid day at the very least. Hopefully, they can exceed that and have a big day for fantasy managers placing their trust in the Colts for this week.

Baltimore Ravens Defense @ CIN

Much like the Indianapolis Colts, the Ravens are another defense that becomes nearly a must start for this week. They get the pleasure of facing off against the Cincinnati Bengals who have one of the worst offenses in the league. They are dead last in rushing yards and in the bottom-ten for points scored per game (15.5). With a rookie quarterback slated to start this game, the Ravens are looking poised to feast in this AFC North grudge match. Start the Ravens with confidence this week, knowing they can easily hit double digits for you in the fantasy department.

Sit:

Green Bay Packers Defense vs. CAR

The Green Bay Packers haven’t looked too good on defense in the last several games played this year. They have dropped to position rank 22. In fact, they haven’t looked strong at all since Week 3 against the Denver Broncos. Since then, the highest amount of fantasy points they were able to muster was five. They’ve been raked over the coals since Week 4, giving up 20+ fantasy points in each of those games played. Now Green Bay will host a dangerous Carolina Panthers squad who presents the best runner in football at this very moment in Christian McCaffrey.
