Welcome to Studs, Scrubs, and Duds; FanSided’s daily fantasy NBA lineup helper.

Here’s what’s on the slate for Nov. 9:

7 p.m. ET: New Orleans at Charlotte
8 p.m. ET: Houston at Chicago, Dallas at Memphis
8 p.m. ET: Golden State at Oklahoma City

How this works:

Studs: Top high salary picks that you can build your lineup around.
Scrubs: Value players looking for a big night or consistent options to help fill out your lineup.
Duds: Players to avoid given their high salary and/or poor matchup.

Five players are picked on each slide, positions are not applicable, and both DraftKings and FanDuel salaries are listed.

Studs

Luka Doncic (at MEM – $9,600 on DK; $10,600 on FD): Both teams are on a back-to-back, and even though it’s a road game for the Mavericks, Luka is the best player on the court and the top player usually finds a way in these games. He bounced back against the Knicks after struggling against Orlando and should be in for another strong night against Memphis.

Brandon Ingram (at CHA – $8,000 on DK; $8,800 on FD): Ingram has been on a roll this season with his scoring and ability to chip in in other areas. At some point, maybe he regresses to the mean. But it’s probably not happening against Charlotte. It is a back-to-back for the Pelicans and they didn’t look good against Toronto, but sometimes these things have a way of evening out. And Charlotte is not Toronto.

Terry Rozier (vs NO – $7,000 on DK; $7,300 on FD): I love Rozier on Saturday because of the defense he’s up against. The Pelicans haven’t proven they can stop anyone this season and while the Hornets aren’t a great overall team, Rozier can get his numbers and then some. This should be an offensive showdown.

Danilo Gallinari (vs GS – $6,400 on DK; $6,700 on FD): Many are going to look towards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and while he’s obviously a strong pick, Gallinari should be in for a big night with his scoring ability. He’s a cheap option compared to other high price players and will give you value if nothing else.

Zach LaVine (vs HOU – $7,300 on DK; $7,900 on FD): The Houston defense still baffles me and while LaVine can be inconsistent, I trust him to get his offensive numbers in this game. His scoring numbers should take a big leap given the Houston defense and he’ll give you some assists as well. This should be another offensively heavy game.
