NBA DFS: Studs, scrubs and duds for Nov. 9
Scrubs
Dennis Schroder (vs GS – $5,600 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Schroder is as inconsistent as they come but the Warriors offer little resistance on defense and they are on a back-to-back. Given the circumstances, this feels like a good night at the office for Schroder, who should easily be able to outplay his value.
Devonte’ Graham (vs NO – $6,700 on DK; $6,400 on FD): Graham is at a great price on FanDuel as he’s below the average salary line. He’s a little less desirable on DraftKings, but defense will be option when the Hornets meet the Pelicans and Graham has been a strong option in three of his last four games.
Chandler Hutchison (vs HOU – $3,200 on DK; $3,600 on FD): Hutchison should draw the start with Otto Porter Jr out of the lineup. If that’s the case, he’s an easy take at the price. He’s not going to hurt you and he has the ability to perform in a big way given the circumstances and matchup.
Alec Burks (at OKC – $4,500 on DK; $5,100 on FD): It’s an Alec Burks revenge game. Remember when he was on the Thunder for like a day? He’s had some good games with the Warriors thus far and remains at a good price. He’ll hurt OKC coming off the bench for Golden State.
Eric Gordon (at CHI – $4,300 on DK; $4,600 on FD): Gordon looked more like himself against the Grizzlies. Is he back in form or was it an aberration? I’m going to go with the former. It’s a good matchup for Houston and Gordon is too good of a scorer to be in a prolonged slump and not play himself out of it.
