Steve Bartkowski Division

16. Kyler Murray (LW: 16)

Murray threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns (and an interception) in Arizona’s 30-27 loss to the Buccaneers. He also extended multiple plays with his legs. Murray has the disadvantage of playing on a lousy team, but the skills are evident.

15. Jared Goff (LW: 12)

Goff’s offensive line sucks. Sucks. That said, he needs to make the team around him better. He needs to elevate the supporting cast as the elite quarterbacks do. Throughout Goff’s career, he has shown no ability to do that. The Rams paid a decent player like a top-tier one.

14. Jimmy Garoppolo (LW: 13)

Garoppolo was without George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders for much of the evening, and the results reflected those absences. The 49ers could have easily lost at the end of regulation, when Garoppolo twice threw balls right to Seattle defenders, only to have the would-be picks dropped. Ultimately going 24-of-46 for 248 yards isn’t ideal.

13. Carson Wentz (LW: 15)

Wentz has been good this season, but coming out of the bye, he’ll need to step his game up. The Cowboys and Eagles are in a proverbial match race for the NFC East crown. Next opponent? The New England Patriots, who invade The Linc on Sunday.
