Donovan McNabb Division

12. Derek Carr (LW: 14)

Carr is starting to throw the ball downfield a bit more, and it’s making a noticeable difference. Alongside a terrific ground game and behind an awesome offensive line, Carr has thrown for 2,202 yards (7.8 YPA) with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. Well done.

11. Philip Rivers (LW: 11)

Rivers is a confounding player. He’s long been one of the game’s best, but he is losing arm strength and consequently, the battle against time. He can still have great games, but behind a bad line the immobile Rivers is at peril on an every-down basis. Dangerous, yes, but flawed.

10. Kirk Cousins (LW: 10)

Cousins wasn’t special on Sunday night, even in finally beating a good team in primetime. he threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns, helping Minnesota to a 28-24 win. The biggest thing for Cousins? No turnovers. If he plays like that, the Vikings can beat anybody.

9. Matt Ryan (LW: 9)

Ryan came out of the bye week and found a way to engineer a shocking 26-9 win over the New Orleans Saints. Ryan was average in the tilt, throwing for 182 yards (5.2 YPA) but he did enough. For the year, Ryan has 17 touchdowns and is completing 69.4 percent of his throws.
