DraftKings college football wide receiver picks November 13

Top Tier:

Like last night, none of these teams pass much. In fact, this is a weaker passing lineup than last night’s slate. Part of the reason for that is that all of these teams pass it around when they do throw. No receivers are over $5,600, and only three average double digit DraftKings points per game. Bowling Green’s Quintin Morris is the best of the bunch, mostly because the Falcons play from behind so often.

Spencer Tears has had some good games, but Cole Tucker is the big play guy for Northern Illinois. Tucker carries a bit more risk, but Tears wont get loose like Tucker can.

Middle Tier:

Bryce Mitchell has struggled a bit with Eil Peters under center. Mitchell only has five receptions with Peters starting. Desmond Phillps has six, and Danzel McKinley-Lewis has been the big play guy. Go with one of them instead of Mitchell tonight if Peters starts.

Miami is the least successful passing team, but when they do throw, it’s usually to Jack Sorenson. The fact that he only has two games of double digit DraftKings points, the first and the last, highlights Miami’s passing game woes.

Bargain Shoppers:

The volume for Mitchell Brinkman is enough for us to take notice. He has at least two receptions in every game this season. That makes him one of the few receivers on this slate that can claim that distinction. Teammate Daniel Crawford is the other.

There is a picture of James Maye under “dart throw” in the DFS dictionary. Maye doesn’t always catch a pass, but when he does, it’s a big one. Maye has a pass play of at least 45 yards in the last four games in which he has a catch.
