DraftKings college football running back picks November 13

Top Tier:

There has been no update on Bryant Koback, but he’s the top guy on the entire slate if he plays. Koback left Toledo’s last game near the end of the first half against Kent last week. As with Guadagni, Toledo hasn’t whispered a peep about Koback, leaving this entire slate up in the air. The difference is that I will go out of my way to get Koback whereas I wouldn’t with Guadagni.

Tre Harbison isn’t a bad consolation prize. Harbison gets a lot of work if the game stays close or if NIU is ahead by a lot. Forget the little blip against Central Michigan. Harbison is in for a large workload tonight.

Middle Tier:

Andrew Clair‘s bum foot has opened up more carries for Bryson Denley. Both are worth a look, but only if you think Bowling Green can hang around. Denley’s running prowess suffered in games in which the Falcons fell behind early. I like Clair more, but if you’re worried about his foot, Denley is the way to go.

Shakif Seymour exploded for 175 rushing yards after Koback left last week against Kent. Just keep an eye on Koback’s status. If he sits, Seymour is my top back of the night. Whatever the case, I want Toledo’s starting running back.

One look at Jaylon Bester‘s yards per carry and you would wonder why he’s even on the radar, let alone priced this high. Well, Bester has scored in every game he has played in with the exception of the opener in Iowa City. He’s a bit touchdown dependent, but on a small slate, Bester should still be used. Touchdowns are gold!

Bargain Shoppers:

Tyre Shelton isn’t the vulture. Bester is always in near the goal line. However, Shelton has proven to be a valuable backup to Bester and is a better receiver out of the backfield. Shelton has managed to carve out a larger role, but it also depends on game flow. I think he has a solid chance for good stats here because this could turn into an easy win for the Redhawks. Shelton is an interesting GPP play.
