DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

I find it hard to fade Harden right now. With Gordon and House out, Harden will likely get more looks than normal, which is a scary thought. Harden has elite usage even with Westbrook in town. It could go even higher with Gordon out.

D’Angelo Russell has 181.5 DraftKings points over the last three games. One of those was against the Jazz. Yes, he is the one man gang for the Warriors. I don’t care about the matchup right now. D-Russ is in play regardless. He’s a lot better than Beal against Boston tonight.

Oh man, Lou Williams is in a great spot tonight. We all know the type of numbers he can put up. The Rockets are going to try to pace this up, which plays right into LouWill’s hands. He is going to see a ton of good shots tonight, and if history tells us anything, he’s going to hit at least half of them.

Honorable Mention:

We all know the adage. If Marcus Smart is an obvious choice, don’t use him. It’s really hard to ignore any guard against the Wizards though, especially with the minutes Smart has been seeing. That said, I much prefer Jaylen Brown in this spot. Smart is nothing special for the price.

Alec Burks ruined many a lineup against his former team on Monday, putting up just 20.75 DraftKings points. That would be fine if he were still in the $4,000 range, but he’s not. This is a decent enough matchup with the Lakers, but any Warriors player outside of Russell is a huge risk right now.

Dark Horses:

Malik Monk should earn more run based on what he did Sunday, but Memphis is still a decent defensive squad. There’s risk here, but Monk put up 31 DraftKings points with Batum out at just $3,300. If he does that even at his price of $4,000, you’re way ahead of the game.

Terence Davis didn’t put up good numbers against the Clippers, but in all fairness, no one else did either. Davis still played 17 minutes. He is capable of hitting value in that little time, especially against the Blazers. He could even see an extended run if this game turns into a blowout. Davis is a complete dart throw, but not a bad one.
