DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Everything seems to be lining up for a LeBron rest night even though he says he doesn’t need them. Of course, the Lakers could roll the King out there and give him about 25 minutes and still destroy this version of the Warriors. If they hold Davis out, LeBron for 25 minutes could be worth the price and just not have any upside. Still, I don’t like to risk this much in a blowout game when they are going to rest the star if they can. I’m looking elsewhere.

Kawhi fell a little flat against his former team, but this is a nice matchup with Houston. Who is going to guard him? Tucker will be a nuisance, but no one is going to stop him. I see Kawhi as safer than LeBron tonight with just enough upside for GPP usage.

Honorable Mention:

I want to move off of Andrew Wiggins. I really do. However, this seems to be a different version of him. He still isn’t worth the contract and may never be, but Wiggins is hitting more than half his shots over the last ten games. Wiggins is notorious for needing 30 shots to get anywhere close to value. Now he does it in 20. That huge with Towns dominating usage. This is not an easy matchup with the Spurs, but I may throw Wiggins out there once to see if he stays hot.

It’s time to pay attention to Evan Fournier again. Fournier has 69 DraftKings points over the last two games. It was a rough start to the season for him, but the minutes have been there. Fournier should be a great value in this range at a relatively weak position again.

Dark Horses:

Norman Powell has played well in an expanded role for the Raptors. That may expand a little more with OG out. Powell’s minutes have jumped dramatically with Lowry out. He is the kind of value we need tonight. The upside isn’t really there, but Powell is a value play with a 5x value floor. You can’t really beat that in any format.

You can play roulette with Dillon Brooks if you want. The minutes are usually there and he has turned in three ceiling games in the last five contests. The other two? Under 17 DraftKings points. Place your bets!

We saw Rondae Hollis-Jefferson start the second half for Anunoby on Monday night. RHJ was brilliant in the second half, finishing with 28.25 DraftKings points in 29 minutes. I would think Toronto should start him tonight. Lock him in!
