DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

I will confess that I haven’t used Devin Booker yet this season. Booker is having a better season than last year, but he doesn’t have to do everything by himself anymore. That has resulted in lesser fantasy numbers. Booker’s price is still a touch high, but that is negated by the great matchup against Atlanta. The Hawks have little to no perimeter defense. Booker could have his best game of the season here.

New Orleans is one of the worst defensive teams in the league, so it could be a massive night for Lou Williams. He didn’t get the Rockets quite as bad as I thought he would, but he has another chance at a huge game here. Maybe LouWill comes through tonight. He freaking better!

Honorable Mention:

Last night should have been Patrick Beverley’s night to light it up, but he was a total dud against his former team. This is another great matchup tonight with the Pelicans, but I don’t know how much I trust Beverley right now. 10 DraftKings points? Really? That’s all you got? I would much rather chase the upside of rookie Coby White against the Bucks with Middleton out. On top of that, White is $300 cheaper!

SG thins out in a big hurry tonight once you get past Booker and Williams. JJ Redick is the next guy that I would even consider besides White, and that’s just because Hart and Ball are out. Redick has back to back games of more than 30 DraftKings points, and his price is still under $5,000. I’ll take value where I can get it, even if it does come in the form of Redick.

Dark Horses:

A lot of pundits are looking towards Sterling Brown or Pat Connaughton to eat the minutes vacated by Khris Middleton. While I do like the value on Brown, I tend to think that the veteran Bucks are going to look towards another veteran: Wesley Matthews. All Matthews has done so far is take some of the upside away from Brown, but if he keeps playing 30 minutes like he did against the Thunder, at some point Matthews is going to take off.

You don’t need to go read Tulloch’s article. I can sum it up for you in one sentence: THJ is playing the Knicks. The revenge narrative is going to be strong here, but Hardaway has actually put up good numbers off the bench for Dallas lately. THJ has at least 18 DraftKings points in each of the last seven games. That’s a solid floor for a punt.
