DraftKings college football quarterback picks November 15

Top Tier:

With Smith out, I guess that leaves Jorge Reyna. After a strong start to the season, Reyna has stumbled a bit of late. His completion percentage is actually going up, but the lack of touchdowns limits Reyna’s upside. This Aztecs defense is a tough unit. It’s going to be rough for Reyna tonight, and I really see no reason to reach for him even if you have the money.

Middle Tier:

I would much rather “drop” to Isaiah Green. It’s a drop in price only. Green has been far more consistent than Reyna and far more efficient. The Herd are mostly a running team, but at least Green has managed double digit DraftKings points in five straight, topping 20 in three of those. You can’t say that for Reyna.

Bargain Shoppers:

This is actually a case where the lowest priced quarterback may end up being the worst fantasy option. I haven’t felt like that yet this week. However, Ryan Agnew is inefficient, and this team runs a lot. There are no short touchdown passes in this offense. Agnew does have ten touchdowns to four interceptions, but only three of those touchdowns have come in the last four games. I no longer think Agnew is worth the risk.

With Smith no longer an option, Westin Elliott is expected to start. Elliott has only completed three of eight passes this year. Marshall’s defense is going to give Elliott problems. I don’t mind using him in a GPP, but I think there are better options in cash. There is just too much unknown here. I get it though. He’s really cheap, and will likely be better than Agnew. However, if you’re seriously considering Agnew right now, you’re doing it wrong.
