NBA DraftKings – top value shooting guards

Glenn Robinson III vs. Memphis Grizzlies ($4,800)

The Golden State Warriors are full of value currently and Glen Robinson III stands out as one of the top targets for this four game slate. Robinson is currently averaging 10 points with five rebounds and two assists per game. He’s averaging a usage rate of just 14% currently while averaging 22.6 fantasy points per game. In his last five games, GRIII has only exceeded value twice while having a couple of disappointing games versus the Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz.

The Memphis Grizzlies are actually giving up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards with 44.76 DK points per game. They are allowing them to average 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game.  Memphis defense is not the prettiest and Glen Robinson III should be able to exceed his value.

E’twaun Moore vs. Portland Trailblazers ($4,600)

This is a slightly tougher match-up for E’twaun Moore as he faces the Portland Trailblazers, but he will also bring little ownership on this small slate. He currently has a 20% usage rate while averaging .82 fantasy points per minute. He’s had a good string of performances also where has scored 20 fantasy points or more in the past five games except for the last game where he scored 19.8 fantasy points.

Portland Trailblazers on the defensive side of things are allowing opposing shooting guards to average just 21 points, six rebounds and four assists per game. They also allow them to average just 38.09 fantasy points per game, which is the fifth fewest in the NBA. The shooting guard position value doesn’t run too low in salary price, but you can still pay down and get some good results in terms of value. Between the two that I have mentioned on this slide, Moore is the player I’ll be targeting more due to his lower ownership in a tougher matchup on paper.
