DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($9,500): I’m not touching Harden tonight. Denver plays solid defense, especially on the perimeter. I think we’ll get about the same output from Beal at $2300 less. Beal has lit up damn near everyone again this year as the focal point of this offense. The Spurs will ugly up this game, but even so, the Wizards should score somewhere in the 90’s. Beal is getting at least a third of those points.

DeMar DeRozan ($8,100): Every once in a while DDR has to make sure we’re still paying attention. He did that on Monday when he went shot for shot with Luka. Now he gets to go shot for shot with Beal. Washington’s defense is one of the worst in the league. DeRozan is going to see a plethora of open shots again. The only question is can he knock down 14 of those 20 again?

Honorable Mention:

Donovan Mitchell ($7,700): I whiffed with Mitchell on Monday, but I’ll go back to the well here against the “Minnesota nice” defense. Yes, I realize that when I whiffed with Mitchell on Monday it was against this same team. Mitchell hit just five of his 23 shot attempts. If he hits even just five more of those, he hits value. This is me betting on Mitchell not being cold two games in a row. It’s not like Minnesota really stopped him from shooting. Mitchell just missed.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,200): Boy, that’s a lot for Dinwiddie, but he has 86 DraftKings points in the last two games with Kyrie out. Charlotte’s guard defense is solid, but Dinwiddie is going to see a boost in numbers across the board. I trust him a whole lot more than VanVleet against the Magic, that’s for sure.

Will Barton ($6,300): Playing the Rockets is a shooter’s paradise. Welcome to paradise, Will. To your right you will find Harden, who will playfully pretend to guard you while you shoot balls off the rack. To your left you will find Tucker, the bad cop to Harden’s good. Enjoy your stay in paradise and we hope to see you again soon! Gary Harris could really enjoy this matchup too, and he’s $1800 less!

Dark Horses:

Alec Burks ($5,200): Burks went bonkers on Memphis last night. The Warriors are so thin everywhere that they’re not going to rest or limit anyone in the second night of a back to back. I don’t like this matchup all that much, but Burks’ usage is so high that we can’t ignore him at this price. He’s 6x value with much more possible.

Sterling Brown ($4,600): Brown has been brilliant off the bench for the Bucks. Again, I was a game early on him as well. Since I played him, Brown has 50.75 DraftKings points over the last two games. Matthews was given the first crack at filling in for Middleton and he mostly failed. Brown and DiVincezo have not.

Cam Reddish ($4,000): Playing a rookie is always a risk, but the risk is lessened when the price is this low. The Hawks want to see what Reddish has to offer. He’s playing really good minutes off the bench. The intriguing part here is when he runs the point. That wont happen as much as we would like, but we saw Dunn light up the Bucks off the bench on Monday. Can another bench guard do the same?
