NFL DFS – The Main Slate

Josh Allen (Quarterback)

We kick off our Sunday morning with a young quarterback in Buffalo who gets a slightly difficult match up with the Denver Broncos. Josh Allen has turned around the Buffalo Bills since taking over under center and has now put up back to back games with amazing performances. He put up 25.44 fantasy points versus Cleveland where he ran in two touchdowns and then put up 33.84 fantasy points versus the Miami Dolphins with three touchdowns through the air. Will he be able to continue his dominance?

The Running back Depth

This Sunday has a stacked depth of running backs to use as Christian McCaffrey continues his expensive top spot of $10,500. With just one single game below 20 fantasy points (it was just 7 DK points against Tampa Bay), it’s hard to fade him. Both Alvin Kamara and Nick Chubb are priced a little above $8k with great matchups.

Kamara gets the Carolina Panthers who give up 128 rushing yards per game while Chubb gets the Miami Dolphins who allow 148 rushing yards per game. You can even pay down with Kareem Hunt who has put up 14.4 and 11.8 fantasy points since his return from suspension. Tarik Cohen has been stepping up when the opportunity arises also and he sits at $4,800 with two back to back performances 13.7 and 18.4 fantasy points. As usual the depth of running backs is endless, but it’s finding that perfect match up to get the upper hand.

More Depth At Receiver

We thought the running back position had depth, but once you get to the wide receivers tab, you’ll see the top five receivers have perfect opportunities to go off. We can start with the Tampa Bay duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Both receivers have “cooled” down recently but they face an Atlanta defense that allows 261 receiving yards per game. Sticking in the same game is Julio Jones who faces a Buccaneers defense that gives up the second most yards to receivers with 290 yards per game.

Another receiver who may go under owned is DK Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks who is sitting at the price of $6,300. He has three straight games of 10 or more fantasy points. Metcalf is also one of the leagues most-targeted red zone receivers so far and it would be hard to pass him up versus the Philadelphia Eagles. They are currently allowing 237 receiving yards per game.

Which Tight End To Use?

Now usually we get blessed with George Kittle or Travis Kelce on our slates, but this weekend we are left a little dazed and confused. Austin Hooper is still questionable, but has a great chance on paper to dominate versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Noah Fant‘s usage rating has actually shot up by 10% since the departure of Emmanuel Sanders and the targets are also there. Now he has only found the end-zone twice this season, the last one coming in week 9 versus the Cleveland Browns.

Dallas Goedert may be a sneaky play for the Philadelphia Eagles at $3,700. He has put up over 10 fantasy points in three of his last five games, barely missing that mark in two of them. I wouldn’t look too deep in to the tight end position but you can find some salary relief with good value this Sunday.
