DraftKings Showdown: Flex

Jacoby Brissett $10,400 –

With Marlon Mack out with a broken hand, Jacoby Brissett will be asked to do more in a typically road run heavy Colts offensive approach. I would be looking to include, Hines, Hilton, one of the tight ends in most builds while also working Zach Pascal with Brissett built lineups. At $10400, his price is high considering what he has available around him but will be far less owned than Watson.

Zach Pascal $8,000 –

With Hilton out, Pascal has stepped into the lead role as the Colts primary receiver averaging 6.5 targets per game in the games that Hilton has missed. I am only looking to roster Pascal at this price if Hilton is out.

Carlos Hyde $7,000 –

While the Colts have been stingy against the run allowing the seventh fewest points to running backs, Carlos Hyde has seen the volume to easily pay off his price-tag of 7k. When the Texans can get ahead in ball games. Hyde has yet to see less than 19 carries in a game. With the Texans favored and at home, Hyde is likely to see 15+ carries and can be on builds without Hopkins or Watson in a more contrarian build.

Duke Johnson $5,000 –

#FreeDukeJohnson is still a thing for me as he is one of the NFL’s most underutilized players. Having seen five targets in three of his last four games, Johnson is a flex option on this slate at $5k. If the Texans do fall behind, Johnson’s value is increased as he is one of the best pass catching backs in the league and more than capable of taking a screen to the house at any point.
