NFL DraftKings – Top valued running backs

Bo Scarbrough versus Washington Redskins ($4,200)

Sticking with this Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins game, Bo Scarbrough does stand out as he was used a lot last weekend versus Dallas. He recorded 14 carries for 55 yards with one touchdown. The Lions backfield is currently in the air as Ty Johnson was pushed to the back for Scarbrough and McKissic last week so we may see a similar pattern this weekend or more confusion. However, this Washington Redskins defense is horrendous so any and all running backs may shine Sunday.

The Redskins currently are giving up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing running backs with 27.97 fantasy points per game. They are also giving up a total of 370 yards per game with 134 of those yards coming by rushing. Just depending on who has the hot hand or who the coaching staff has faith in this week, Scarbrough may go low owned while exceeding his value.

Peyton Barber versus Atlanta Falcons ($3,800)

Lets get even more crazy with the running back value depth with Peyton Barber of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Barber did not receive one single carry last week versus New Orleans, but the team fell behind quickly so they abandoned the running game. The week before that against Arizona, Barber put up 43 yards off of 11 carries and found the end zone once. This is another backfield with confusion as the coaching staff goes back and forth with Barber and Ronald Jones.

The Atlanta Falcons are currently ranked 18th in rushing yards allowed with 107 yards per game and they also allow an average of 26 points per game. The Falcons are in the middle of the pack when it comes to allowing fantasy points to opposing running backs with 24.58 fantasy points per game. A complete risk play is what this is though as the Buccaneers are struggling with staying in games and who to lean on in their backfield.
