DraftKings Showdown: Cheap Options

Raheem Mostert $4,200 –

If Matt Breida is out, Mostert will be my heaviest owned player under 5k. He is going to be the second back in a run heavy offense that is also utilized in the passing game, making 10+ touches likely.

Allen Lazard $3,200 –

My favorite cheap play on this weeks slate is Allen Lazard. He has come on as Rodgers second favorite receiver and has seen his snaps increase to around 50%. If he can continue to see his snaps increase he will payoff his $3200 price-tag.

Geronimo Allison $2,800 –

At $2800 Allison comes in as a value play, as he is seeing over 60% of snaps on the season in a pass first offense. While he has lacked targets of late, I prefer to play Allison over MVS or Jimmy Graham as he comes in much cheaper.

Kyle Juszczyk $1,600 –

If Matt Breida is out, Juszczyk is in play at $1600 as he is utilized in the passing game with Breida out seeing seven targets last week and three others in two other games this season. He is by no means a core play but if I am going a stars and scrubs approach, he is in play at his price-tag.

DraftKings Showdown: Special Teams / Defensive Flex Options

Chase McLaughlin $3,600 –

With Gould doubtful for the game the 49ers will turn to McLaughlin once again. With the 49ers scoring touchdowns on only 50% of trips inside the red-zone, the niners kicker is someone who can be a value play for you if you need salary savings.

Mason Crosby $3,800 –

The Packers are the second best red-zone team in the league scoring touchdowns on 69% of trips inside the 20. It is unlikely that I use more than one special teams player on any builds tomorrow but both kickers are in play with McLaughlin being my favorite of the two.

Packers $3,000 –

With the 49ers priced at 5k and I would eliminate them from my player pool as Rodgers and company are very efficient and do not turn the ball over. The same cannot be said for the 49ers as Jimmy G is prone to turnovers making the Packers viable at 3k.

DraftKings Showdown: Game Script Thoughts

The 49ers opened as a 3.5 home favorite against the Green Bay Packers with a total of 44. The game has seen significant over money as the total has moved to 47.5 while the line has come down to -3. Both offenses should have success on the ground as the Packers have allowed the 9th most rushing yards and the 5th most fantasy points to the position, while the 49ers have allowed the 14th most rush yards. If the 49ers can get Kittle, and Sanders back, I like the chances of this game shooting out more.
