College football betting results afternoon November 16:

Ohio State(-52.5) at Rutgers: MISS! I should have known that none of the Buckeye starters wouldn’t play after halftime…..

Wake Forest at Clemson(-34.5): MISS! Yes, I should have flipped the entire bet. I was going to, but I figured Newman and the offense would do something. Not even close.

Georgia(-2.5) at Auburn: HIT! This could have been a lot worse. Georgia was up 21-0 going into the fourth quarter.

Memphis(-10.5) at Houston: HIT! It was the Brady White show here. Houston’s run defense showed up, but they couldn’t stop White to Coxie.

Texas at Iowa State(-7.5): HIT! This was a great game and the Texas defense played better than they have in a while.

West Virginia at Kansas State(-13.5): MISS! Part of me thought this was a little high, but I never thought that the Wildcats would lose outright.

Central Michigan at Ball State(-2.5): MISS! What a crazy game this was. The Chippewas needed all 34 second half points to escape Muncie with a win.

Virginia Tech(-5.5) at Georgia Tech: HIT! I said I was skeptical that the GT offense would score. They didn’t That should mean extra points for me…..

Kentucky(-10.5) at Vanderbilt: HIT! I was nervous when the Commodores jumped out to an early 14-3 lead. Then Kentucky took off.

Minnesota at Iowa(-2.5): MISS! The Gophers really needed Tanner Morgan in the game at the end, but it may not have mattered anyway. Iowa showed up. I’m not sure Minnesota did.

Syracuse at Duke(-10.5): MISS! Where did that come from? The Orange had been awful on both sides of the ball!

Hawaii(-6.5) at UNLV: HIT! Easy money. Sometimes we need it.

Wyoming at Utah State(-5.5): HIT! I caught a break here. The half went my way. ..

Stanford at Washington State(-10.5): HIT! The Cougar defense looks just fine against bad offenses. They don’t have many of those left…..

Rice at Middle Tennessee State(-14.5): MISS! Wow, I never would have guessed an outright win for Rice. What was that??
