DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Jrue Holiday ($8,100): Holiday was a disappointment against the Thunder on Friday. Even with Ball out, Holiday was electing to miss more himself than to distribute. This is a small slate though, and Holiday may have the best ceiling of anyone on it. That’s worth paying for in GPP formats.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($6,600): SGA has been awful over the last three games despite superb matchups. You couldn’t pay me to use him right now, but my job is to inform you that SGA is playing teh team that has allowed the most fantasy points to shooting guards this year. He also only had 18.25 DraftKigns points in 33 minutes against said team on Friday.

Honorable Mention:

Evan Fournier ($6,400): Fournier is one of the more consistent guys out there, but he has been consistently awesome this year. In years past Fournier was a guy that had troubles breaking out of the 20’s for DraftKings points and he was always priced in the mid $5,000’s. That hasn’t been the case this year. Fournier is routinely topping 40 and is always in the 30’s. I’ll take it!

Alec Burks ($5,800): VanVleet did well against Orlando on Friday, so there’s hope for Burks. However, he has either been really good or really bad lately. There is no in between. I’d settle for the in between today, but I really doubt we’ll get it.

Dark Horses:

Derrick Rose ($5,400): Even if Jackson returns, he’ll be on a very strict minutes limit. On top of that, Rose was outplaying him anyway. Rose continues to put up strong numbers in most games. This matchup with the Spurs is on the easier side, so we could see Rose flirting with 6x value again.

Terrence Ross ($4,300): Ross is about as streaky as they come, but he’s on a hot streak right now. He can put up elite scoring numbers off the bench, but adds little else. Bruce Brown has a higher floor and will play more minutes, but Ross has much higher upside.
