College football betting early results November 30:

Ohio State(-9.5) at Michigan: HIT! How many more times will the Wolverines not just lose, but get embarrassed by the Buckeyes under Harbaugh before they’ve had enough? No one else has gone 0-4 to start against Ohio State, let alone 0-5. Harbaugh’s buyout must be one that would make Bill Callahan blush.

Clemson(-27.5) at South Carolina: MISS! You’d think a Tigers blowout would keep them from playing that damn rooster crowing over the P.A. in Columbia, but no such luck…..

Georgia(-28.5) at Georgia Tech: MISS! The Bulldogs finally got the memo that they need style points if they want to get in with two losses over a one loss CONFERENCE CHAMPION. Let that sink in for a minute. The loss to a South Carolina team that just got pummeled by Clemson, at home no less, should be enough to shut up ESPN, but nooooo.

Texas State at Coastal Carolina(-6.5): MISS! Do they have a Jack-In-The-Box in Conway, South Carolina? That’s the only thing that can explain this.

Tulsa(-5.5) at East Carolina: MISS! Too bad this Tulsa team didn’t make a bowl. They were fun to watch over the last couple of games and Zach Smith played the best game of his career here.

Florida International at Marshall(-7.5): HIT! The Panthers should still get a bowl invite for pushing the Herd to overtime in Huntington.

Louisville at Kentucky(-3.5): MISS! Wow, this was brutal. Whoever plays Kentucky in a bowl better hope they can defend an option offense. That’s basically what the Wildcats have turned into. I want to see them play Navy. Is that too much to ask?

Northwestern at Illinois(-8.5): MISS! Illinois benches their quarterback. Northwestern starts a freshman that no one has ever heard of. Of course it makes sense that Northwestern blows out their rival and scores more points than against anyone other than UMass.

Indiana(-6.5) at Purdue: MISS! So, uh, why didn’t Purdue start this quarterback when they had something to play for besides an old Oak Bucket? Especially considering they still lost said Bucket.

Wake Forest(-3.5) at Syracuse: MISS! I stand by my pick. I think Wake runs off with this if Jamie Newman stays in the game.

Middle Tennessee State at Western Kentucky(-8.5): MISS! Forget covering, the Hilltoppers were lucky to win at all. This is probably the worst game they played since they lost to Central Arkansas in the opener.

Charlotte(-9.5) at Old Dominion: HIT! It will be hard for the bowl people to leave Charlotte out of a bowl with seven wins. They need more exposure. Benny LeMay is a really good back.

Wyoming at Air Force(-10.5): MISS! Wyoming stayed in single digits. Does that count? I need all they help I can get…..

New Mexico State at Liberty(-14.5): HIT! I should have went higher on this, but in all fairness, the Flames didn’t cover this line against the Aggies earlier this year. Yes, they played twice in the same year.

Rice(-6.5) at UTEP: HIT! I had sworn off Rice, but this was just too tempting.

UNLV at Nevada(-7.5): HIT! Not only did the Rebels buck the spread, but the Cannon is going back to Vegas!
