College football betting results November 29:

Virginia Tech(-2.5) at Virginia: MISS! The Hokies allowed 19 fourth quarter points to give this away and send the Commonwealth Cup back to Charlottesville for the first time since 2003. It also sent my parlay straight to hell early in the day. Thanks for the no tilting day guys!

Texas Tech at Texas(-9.5): MISS! It doesn’t matter that Texas wasn’t healthy on offense. They were mostly healthy on defense and it showed.

Bowling Green at Buffalo(-28.5): HIT! Easy money. The Falcons did make sure to make me look like an ass and score once though. They sure showed me!

Kent State at Eastern Michigan(-4.5): MISS! This puts Kent and EMU both as bowl eligible teams. Kent needed this and it showed. Their defense and special teams really showed up.

Miami(OH) at Ball State(-3.5): HIT! The Redhawks actually won their division, so now they get to get creamed in the MAC Championship by Central Michigan.

Toledo at Central Michigan(-23.5): MISS! I should have known better. Toledo was actually on their third string QB before kickoff.

Iowa(-5.5) at Nebraska: MISS! There’s a reason I only bet one on this. That said, this is a game that Nebraska had every chance to win and should have won. They should have stayed with Luke McCaffrey after that bullet for a touchdown to tie it. He was the best quarterback on either team on Friday.

Missouri(-12.5) at Arkansas: MISS! You would be hard pressed to find a more disappointing team than Missouri. Kelly Bryant was supposed to make them contenders in the SEC East. Instead, they didn’t even make a bowl.

Cincinnati at Memphis(-11.5): MISS! I should have known this was too high. This Cincinnati defense kept the Memphis running game under wraps, but they had no answer for Damonte Coxie.

Boise State(-13.5) at Colorado State: MISS! This was a spirited stand by a Colorado State team that battled injuries all year long.

Washington State at Washington(-8.5): MISS! You just never knew when Washington was going to show up this year. I still don’t know that Chris Peterson should have been fired……er……stepped down…..over this year, but it was certainly a disappointment after getting a high profile transfer.

West Virginia at TCU(-13.5): HIT! West Virginia’s issues at quarterback are solved. Maybe even running back as well. This is going to be a dangerous team next year.

Arkansas State(-11.5) at South Alabama: MISS! I knew better, but I still didn’t think Arkansas State would lose outright.

Appalachian State(-12.5) at Troy: HIT! This was easy money. Appalachian not only won by double this, they almost tripled it!

South Florida at Central Florida (-23.5): MISS! The only thing interesting about this game was waiting to see if the next skirmish would turn into an all-out brawl.
