LSU vs. Georgia

Everyone will have their eyes on the two quarterbacks. Joe Burrow has enjoyed a meteoric rise all season long. He gets another challenge this week facing the Georgia defense, which has been the best unit in the SEC this year. Burrow has battled against tough defenses already this season and shown the grit and toughness to hang in and deliver. It will be on his shoulders this week, especially with how dominant the Bulldogs run defense is. His ability to maneuver in the pocket and make accurate throws is tops in this class, and he will need to dial it in for this game.

Jake Fromm is the other quarterback to pay attention to in this one. Fromm has great leadership qualities and is the best processor in the 2020 NFL Draft class. He can make big plays down the field when given the chance. If Georgia is to win, Fromm will need to have a big game. Against LSU’s suspect defense, he can do it.

D’Andre Swift is the best running back in the class right now with his burst, lateral quickness, and ability to finish runs. He takes the pressure off of Fromm when the run game gets going, and could have a big game in the biggest game of the year for the Bulldogs.

Andrew Thomas is widely regarded as the top tackle in the class. His power in the run game is great, and he anchors well in pass protection. His biggest test will come against LSU’s K’Lavon Chaisson. Chaisson is a speed rusher who could give Thomas fits. He did against Alex Leatherwood earlier this season. This will be the best matchup in the game.

Elsewhere, pay attention to how Clyde Edwards-Helaire fares against this Georgia run defense. He’s had a great year, but this run defense is on a different level.

LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson is a good all-around receiver who isn’t getting enough love for the 2020 NFL Draft. He draws some impressive defenders in Georgia’s secondary this week. Richard LeCounte has good instincts and ball skills and J.R. Reed is a very physical player.
