DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Luka Doncic ($11,700): With all of the other talent on this slate, I’m just not sure Luka is going to score enough more than everyone else to pay literally top dollar on the entire slate. We know what the ceiling is, but Luka has been closer to his floor lately in the blowout of the Pelicans and a poor shooting game against Minnesota. Luka gives you the most upside, but I’m not sure I would pay the premium in cash.

Damian Lillard ($8,500): Lillard has found his stroke again, and that’s a great thing for us DFS players. Lillard put up 103 DraftKings points in two games against the Thunder earlier this year. He has 100.25 DraftKings points over the last two games agianst teams that are much better against guards than the Thunder. If this game stays close, Lillard is going to put up huge numbers. Even in a blowout, I think we see 5x value.

Honorable Mention:

Kyle Lowry ($7,200): This isn’t a great matchup for Lowry, but he has been outstanding for the price in his two games back. On top of that, Lowry has played 83 minutes in the two games, so he’s not limited at all. Lowry has 79.75 DraftKings points against Miami and Houston in his games back. Bad matchup or not, I’ll be shocked if Lowry doesn’t hit at least 35 DraftKings points.

Chris Paul ($7,100): Paul turned in a vintage effort against Minnesota on Friday, putting up 30 actual points and 50 DraftKings points. The Blazers aren’t much better defending the point. If CP3 has decided to finally take ownership of the team, look out. He could be in for another strong game here.

Dark Horse:

Kendrick Nunn ($5,300): I really only like this play if Winslow is out. If Winslow misses the game, that leaves Nunn as the only true point guard and Butler as the only other one that’s a strong ball handler since Dragic is out. Nunn could be a nice value running point for a balanced and potent offensive team.

Ish Smith ($5,000): Just when the point balance seemed to be shifting to Thomas, he goes down and Ish lights up. Smith has 65.25 DraftKings points in the two games with Thomas out so far. Even with the huge price jump, Ish is worth the markup. I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t clear 30 DraftKings points again here.
