DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($9,200): Beal is going to try his best to keep the Wizards in the game. He always does. Beal managed 48.75 DraftKings points over 34 minutes in the first meeting with the Clippers. I totally understand a fade here, but Beal’s volume still gives him ample upside.

Buddy Hield ($7,300): Kawhi, Wiggins, and LaVine may be higher on most lists, but not mine. With a guy who’s struggled with shots over most of his career like Wiggins, I want to make sure the thumb is good. Blowout potential has me off of Leonard. As for LaVine, he struggled against Miami the first time around. Then we have Hield, who has played at least 37 minutes and has at least 34 DraftKings points in seven straight. He’s pretty much automatic right now.

Honorable Mention:

Fred VanVleet ($6,900): The only thing that the return of Lowry has done to VanVleet’s DFS prospects is lower his price. VanVleet has seen a less than 8 DraftKings point per game drop in production while his price is down several hundred. FVV is a strong value play right now because it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon.

Lou Williams ($6,200): Playing the Generals…..er….Wizards is always a great matchup for spot shooters. LouWill put up 34.25 DraftKings points up on Washington in just 23 minutes in the first meeting. There’s a good chance this game is a blowout, but Williams is one of the Clippers that I would expect to meet value since his price is reasonable.

Dark Horses:

Duncan Robinson ($4,400): Yes, I know that Tyler Herro lit up the Wizards, but Robinson played a staggering 42 minutes in that game. His shot wasn’t falling, which helps to show Robinson’s floor, but Robinson is clearly the guy that is going to get a lot of run with Winslow and Dragic out. Herro may have more upside, but I’ll ride Robinson and the minutes agianst the Bulls.

Seth Curry ($3,500): This isn’t a great matchup for Curry, but with Delon Wright sidelined, Curry is going to see a lot of minutes off the bench in this one. Curry sees around 25 minutes anyway, and THJ will steal some time, but I can still see Curry playing 28-30 minutes and hitting 7x value here. He’s worth a dart throw for cheap value.
