Bryan Robinson. 26. player. 804. . WR. Seminoles

  • High School: Palm Beach Central (West Palm Beach, FL)
  • Composite Ranking: No. 175, No. 30 WR

The number-30 recruit in the nation, Bryan Robinson, could be one to stay in-state for college. Robinson just paid a visit to Florida State and that could be exactly where he ends up if visits this time of year are any indication.

Robinson at 6-foot and 179 pounds isn’t a burner by any stretch, as he ran a 4.68-40, but he still has shown great athleticism and has a tremendous vertical leap. The ability to go up and get a football is always crucial.

Could he make those big plays in Tallahassee for a new regime?

Florida State is hoping for new big things as they turn to Mike Norvell as their new head coach. Norvell is coming off a successful tenure with Memphis, where he developed a dynamic offense that had plenty of success.

Norvell is going to find a way to get the most out of his offensive players and to see what he can get in his first recruiting class on short notice will be interesting. He might not have much impact on early National Signing Day, but he’ll have time to try and work some commitments after as well.

Prediction: Florida State

OLB. Cornhuskers . Kaden Johnson. 25. player. 810.

  • High School: Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN)
  • Composite Ranking: No. 164, No. 14 OLB

The top recruit in the state of Minnesota is a highly sought after outside linebacker. Kaden Johnson is a four-star, 6-foot-2 and 230-pound outside linebacker with a tremendous motor. He’s relentless in his pursuit of the ball carrier and doesn’t give up on plays.

Johnson’s skill set serves him best to rush the passer early in his college career, but the right fit should be able to help him develop the rest of his tools. Where that fit is will be interesting.

He has known visits to Nebraska, Oregon State and Wisconsin. The Badgers have developed linebackers well while Oregon State is beginning to finally turn a corner in the Pac-12, hopefully.

Nebraska is entering a pivotal year under Scott Frost. He’s going to need to start seeing some major production on the field and the Cornhuskers need a talented recruiting class as they look to build a foundation.

They have the fewest commits at the position in this class, while both Oregon State and Wisconsin have multiple. Johnson would serve a need well.

Prediction: Nebraska
