Scrubs

Aron Baynes (vs POR – $4,800 on DK; $5,400 on FD): Baynes is still on limited minutes, which isn’t helping. But his salary has been reduced and this is a great matchup as the Blazers offering nothing in the frontcourt. And at some point, Baynes is going to play bigger minutes and when he does, at the reduced salary, he’s going to hit in a big way. He certainly won’t hurt you at this salary and matchup.

Dennis Schroder (vs CHI – $5,700 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Schroder can be as inconsistent as they come but he has a high ceiling and can get hot at any moment. And given the matchup against a weak Bulls team, this feels like a matchup where he gets going coming off the bench. He never lacks for opportunities, which obviously helps him. He should deliver in a big way with his scoring.

Derrick Rose (vs WAS – $6,100 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Rose continues to play consistent basketball and now he has a matchup against the Wizards. He and Luke Kennard should feast once again and if Drummond doesn’t play, it’ll open up more opportunities for both of the guards. The offense should be up in a big way for both of these teams and Rose could offer the most overall value.

Norman Powell (vs CLE – $5,500 on DK; $5,000 on FD): Powell has been playing great basketball for the Raptors in the last handful of games since returning to the starting lineup. This is an easy matchup for him to feast on as well because the Cavaliers offer a whole bunch of nothing. The scoring should be there and he’ll chip in with rebounds as well.

Tim Hardaway (at MIL – $5,800 on DK; $5,400 on FD): Much like Porzingis, it’s a tough matchup for the Mavericks and they are unlikely to win, but someone has to score for the Mavericks and Hardaway is the best perimeter option. Sometimes an injury has a way of boosting a team. We saw is against Miami and the hope is that it carries over. Either way, given the circumstances, Hardaway Jr will have a strong scoring output.
