4. Indianapolis Colts

After Andrew Luck retired in late August, the Colts pivoted to a solid backup situation with Jacoby Brissett becoming the new starter under center on short notice. He started the season very well, leading the league in touchdown passes for a time, but a knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9 was the turning point for him and the Colts.

The Colts gave Brissett a new two-year deal just before the season started. But it’s not going to necessarily prohibit going another direction in the future, or adding someone to compete with him for the starting job next year.

Getting fully healthy after his sprained left MCL should do Brissett a world of good. But a move to trade for Rosen won’t be costly, as the Dolphins surely just want to unload him this offseason, and he’d be a worthy flier for Indianapolis all things considered.
