NFL quarterback rankings, Week 16: Patrick Mahomes slays in snow
Wade Wilson Division
28. Eli Manning (LW: 29)
Manning got his nice ending in New York. Now, Daniel Jones should reclaim the job if healthy and finish out the season. Jones is the future, and the Giants need to know what they have in him.
27. Drew Lock (LW: 25)
Lock looked awesome against the Texans, but struggled in Kansas City on Sunday. The rookie hit on 18-of-40 throws, was picked off and struggled to place the ball in snowy conditions. Three games is a small sample size, though, so let’s take this at a week-by-week pace.
26. Mitch Trubisky (LW: 27)
Trubisky threw for 334 yards on Sunday, but it was on 6.3 yards per attempt with two interceptions sprinkled in. He’s been better over the last month, but not good.
25. Ryan Fitzpatrick (LW: 26)
Fitzpatrick is playing like a backup quarterbacks, which shouldn’t surprise anybody.
24. Baker Mayfield (LW: 21)
Mayfield has been dreadful this season. After looking like a franchise guy in his rookie season, Mayfield has thrown 17 touchdowns and 17 interceptions with Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry on his roster. He’s also 18th in QBR.
23. Andy Dalton (LW: 24)
Dalton is playing out the string in Cincinnati. Next year, he moves on and Joe Burrow says hello.
22. Jacoby Brissett (LW: 22)
Brissett is a backup masquerading as a starting quarterback. The Colts are 6-8, and while injuries have ravaged the team, it’s also true Brissett can’t stretch the field. Few teams have less punch.
