Tag Team Division

No. 1 — SCU (last week: 1)

SCU had two matches this week. On Dark, they faced Private Party which they won with the SCU Later. The following night, they defended their titles against the Young Bucks. These two teams are very familiar with each other and pulled out their movesets on each other for several near falls.  Once again, the SCU Later got them another victory.

No. 2 — Young Bucks (last week: 2)

The Bucks tried to capitalize early with their finishing moves, but it was premature. They also went for More Bang for Your Buck for a near fall. They tried a multitude of moves, but it wasn’t enough to put the champions away.

No. 3 — Dark Order (last week: 6)

Dark Order didn’t have a match, but made a huge impression. The minions appeared at ringside following SCU vs. Young Bucks with Evil Uno and Stu Grayson standing atop the ramp. They announced that it was initiation night and Dark Order descended upon the ring to beat up both tag teams. They were joined by new Dark Order members, The Beaver Boys. Cody, Dustin Rhodes and Omega all attempted to help their friends. Dynamite went off air with Matt Jackson bring held down.

No. 4—Lucha Bros (last week: unranked)

After taking chops from Omega & Page, Fenix stomped Page’s neck. Pentagon countered Omega’s Moonsault. Fenix hit a tope suicida on Omega. After Omega took control, Fenix distracted the ref so the brothers could regain control. The duo hit a series of combinations on Page. They took advantage of Page mistakenly hitting Omega with a combination package pile driver footstomp to pin Omega.

No. 5 — The Hybrid 2 (last week: unranked)

TH2 has been teaming with Kip Sabian lately, but this week they were paired with PAC. The Hybrid 2 took the lead at the start of the match, exchanging offense with Best Friends. The duo were in and out with PAC for a good chunk of the match. Angelico was chokeslammed and was landed on by Orange Cassidy’s 450 Splash. PAC got the win for the trio.

No. 6 — Beaver Boys (last week: 6)

Alex Reynolds and John Silver finally succumbed to the messages of Dark Order and joined them. They were officially initiated on Dynamite when they attacked Young Bucks, SCU, Cody, Omega and Dustin Rhodes.

No. 7 — Private Party (last week: unranked)

Private Party wrestled on Dark against the tag team champions, SCU. The fans are behind Private Party early on during lockups. Before long, there were dueling chants for both teams. They even paid homage to Kid ‘n Play by doing their popular dance. Kassidy hit a moonsault off the apron onto SCU. Kassidy hit the Stunner on Sky before he and Quen followed with sliced bead on Sky. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get the win.

No. 8 — Best Friends w/ Orange Cassidy (last week: unranked)

Best Friends and Orange Cassidy faced off against TH2 and PAC. The match was fast paced with Best Friends all over the place. Trent hit a tope con hilo and a half and half suplex. The crowd went nuts when Cassidy was finally tagged in. He nailed PAC with a DDT after his patented kicks. He followed with a tope suicida and an elbow drop to Angelico. It wasn’t enough for a victory.

No. 9 —The Butcher and The Blade (last week: unranked)

The Butcher and The Blade have been a thorn in Cody’s side since their arrival. They looked to continue taking him down again this week. They used their powerful tandem offense on Cody to keep him neutralized from Allin. Even The Bunny tried to help. It wasn’t enough to beat Cody again this week.
