DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

D’Angelo Russell ($8,300): It’s tough to use Russell because he is still very reliant on scoring. He torched Portland on Wednesday and gets a Pelicans team that he put up 44 DraftKings points on earlier this year. I don’t mind running Russell when the matchup is right. It certainly seems to be here.

Andrew Wiggins ($8,000): Wiggins is playing a ton of minutes and his output is actually very stable. That’s very different from the last few years. The absence of KAT actually seemed to hurt Wiggins a little. He didn’t have a single assist against the Pelicans. I expect Wiggins right around 35-40 DraftKings points, but I’m not sure how much upside he has. That said, I trust him over Beal against the stout Raptors D.

Honorable Mention:

Jaylen Brown ($6,900): Forget the little hiccup against Philly. Brown has been an elite scorer with Smart out. He’s a good rebounder on the perimeter and a strong passer, so taht givesn Brown a good floor. He has gone over 33 DraftKings points in five of the last six. Three of those topped 40. That’s the kind of upside we’re chasing.

CJ McCollum ($6,800): CJ has been on fire lately, hitting 22 of 39 shots over the last two games while picking up 94 DraftKings points. You can pay for Lillard if you want, but CJ is doing just as much damage and the Magic are much worse defending the wings than on the ball. I expect CJ to outscore Dame here.

Dark Horses:

Tyler Herro ($5,100): The pendulum has swung back to Herro after a few rough games early in the month. Herro has at least 31 DraftKings points in three straight and is still going to see an awful lot of minutes with the injuries here. Herro may not get 30 against the Knicks, but I also see 5x value as the floor.

Damion Lee ($4,000): The Warriors already know what Burks and Paschall can do. They seem intrigued by Lee. His minutes were down a touch with Paschall back, but not enough to scare me off. Lee has played at least 25 minutes in his last three games and has at least 5x value in all of those games. He’s worth a flier at this price, though there isn’t a whole lot of upside.
