Rich Gannon Division

12. Kirk Cousins (LW: 7)

Cousins can’t shake the reputation of a bad primetime quarterback, and Monday night didn’t help. The Vikings are locked into the sixth seed, and Cousins has serious questions to answer come the playoffs.

11. Ryan Tannehill (LW: 11)

Tannehill needs one more win to get into the postseason with the surging Titans. This has been a banner year for the former first-round pick, who is earning major dough down the line.

10. Dak Prescott (LW: 9)

Prescott might have been injured on Sunday, and he was awful. The Cowboys will be paying him either on a long-term deal or with the franchise tag this offseason.

9. Tom Brady (LW: 12)

Brady had one of his best games of the year against the Bills on Saturday, almost throwing for 300 yards. Buffalo allowed Julian Edelman to go off. Will other teams suffer the same fate in January?

8. Jimmy Garoppolo (LW: 10)

Garoppolo twice hit big 3rd and 16 passes on the final drive to put San Francisco over the Rams last weekend. That’s big time. The 49ers need to see more moments like that in the upcoming weeks.

7. Aaron Rodgers (LW: 8)

Rodgers isn’t having a great year, but he’s certainly enjoying a good one. In the playoffs, though, Rodgers must be even better for the Packers to reach the second Super Bowl of his career.

6. Deshaun Watson (LW: 5)

The Texans need Watson to be great in January. At times, he looks like an MVP candidate. On Saturday against the Bucs, Watson was scattershot.

5. Matt Ryan (LW: 6)

The Falcons have been out of the race for months, but Ryan has continued to play top-notch football.
