DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($8,700): The Wizards played so well with Beal out that I don’t know why they would hurry him back. Hell, I don’t know why they wouldn’t just trade him to the Kings right now! In all seriousness though, Beal will dominate the offense if he plays. Orlando isn’t a team that I normally go after, but Beal has 114 DraftKings points against them in 81 minutes this year. If Beal plays, I’m using him.

Devin Booker ($7,400): Booker is on fire right now with 149 DraftKings points over the last three games. This is a very reasonable price for Booker, even against the Lakers. Booker managed 37.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting, which is almost exactly 5x value. Booker doesn’t have a ton of upside against the Lakers, but I can definitely see using him at this price.

Honorable Mention:

CJ McCollum ($6,800): I’m torn on CJ here. On one hand he has more than 32 DraftKings points in seven of the last eight games. That’s a nice floor. On the other, the Knicks are good on the perimeter and they held CJ to 24 DraftKings points in the first meeting. I’ll probably use him once just in case, but this seems like an unnecessary risk.

Jordan McRae ($5,800): The days of getting McRae on the cheap are over after he exploded against the Heat for 55 DraftKings points. McRae likely wont get enough shots to come anywhere close to that mark if Beal plays. Beal will take over the offense and not leave much for anyone else. It’s enough for me to avoid McRae if Beal plays. If Beal is out though, I’m locking him in every lineup.

Dark Horses:

Jarrett Culver ($4,800): Culver’s monster game on Monday really came out of nowhere. Even when he has earned a start in his career, he has been lucky to get anywhere near 30. Culver put up 41.25 DraftKings points on the Nets. That blew through his perceived ceiling. The ownership is going to be high on Culver after that outburst and under the same circumstances tonight. That alone is enough to keep me off of it. I also think he winds up closer to 25 than 40 DraftKings points.

Mikal Bridges ($3,500): Bridges has been pretty inconsistent this year, but Phoenix still keeps running him out there. Bridges has played well lately with 79.5 DraftKings points over the last four games. That’s good enough to use him at this price with this star-studded short slate.
