DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Damian Lillard ($9,200): I hate the price on Dame here, but I get it. He has three straight games of more than 50 DraftKings points. However, he is playing the Knicks, who have done a really good job of locking down point guards this year. Lillard did get 45 DraftKings points on them earlier this year, but that score even comes up a touch short of 5x value. I understand both sides of this argument, but I probably wont be using Lillard. There are better options to spend on.

Ricky Rubio ($7,000): Rubio seems like a risk against the Lakers, but maybe not. He did put up 43.5 DraftKings on them the first time around. That was more than Booker in the first game. Rubio has at least 40 DraftKings points in four of the last five and six of the last eight. He’s likely safer, and cheaper, than Booker.

Honorable Mention:

Shabazz Napier ($5,800): Napier has done very well starting for the Timberwolves recently. His best outing came on Monday because of the rash of illnesses and injuries plaguing the team. Napier is going to see all of the minutes he can handle. He put up 43.25 DraftKings points on the Nets. Considering Napier racked up 27.75 DraftKings points in 24 minutes in the first meeting with the Bucks, I could see Napier flirting with 40 again.

Eric Bledsoe ($5,500): Bledsoe torched Minnesota for 43.25 DraftKings points the first time around, and that was with Teague on the court. Bledsoe probably isn’t going to approach that mark tonight. Middleton and Giannis are both rolling right now and with as beaten up as Minnesota is, this could be a blowout. That said, Bledsoe is so cheap that I think he hits value anyway.

Dark Horses:

Markelle Fultz ($5,100): Fultz has 61.5 DraftKings points in two games against the Wizards so far this year. We know the drill with Fultz. He’s not going to drop 50 DraftKings points. He wont even hit 40. His ceiling is mid-30’s, but I’m okay with that for this price. He’ll come close to his ceiling against the Wizards.

Isaiah Thomas ($5,100): This whole Washington guard situation is puzzling. It was Ish, not IT, that flourished with McRae with Beal out. Thomas had a pedestrian outing at best. Smith outplayed him the first time against Orlando as well, but neither one of them had a good game. If Beal plays, I’m leaving this whole thing alone. Even if Beal is out, I’ll have to be desperate to use Ish or Thomas.
