Scrubs

Shabazz Napier (vs GS – $5,900 on DK; $5,000 on FD): With all the injuries to Minnesota, guys have had to step up. And Napier is a proven scorer in the league with a great matchup on Thursday. Assuming the Timberwolves remain injured with Wiggins and Towns, Napier will get plenty of opportunities to exploit the Warriors defense. There’s some good value across Minnesota with the injuries and matchup. But Napier offers the highest ceiling.

Dejounte Murray (vs OKC – $6,000 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Murray is another guy who always seems to play well against the Thunder. I’m typically confident in my Thunder killers and Murray is someone who hits shots and comes up with defense plays throughout the entire game. The Spurs look to be on the right track and I will trust the matchup in this one.

Coby White (vs UTA – $4,600 on DK; $4,500 on FD): White is getting the minutes over Dunn right now, but you never know with the Bulls. It’s a good matchup as the Jazz are worse against the position than you may think given their overall defense. White is coming off a big game, so he should get the minutes and opportunities in this one. And his salary is such that he’s unlikely to hurt you.

Brandon Clarke (at SAC – $5,100 on DK; $5,100 on FD): Clarke continues to play well and remains at a solid enough salary given his usual minutes and opportunities. He’s proving to be no fluke with his shooting and touch and this is a matchup that should allow the Memphis offense to shine a little bit. Clarke will get you at least value and the ceiling is higher given his salary and matchup.

Marquese Chriss (at MIN – $5,400 on DK; $4,300 on FD): As mentioned, there is a lot of good value in this game because neither team has a big salary eating star and there should be plenty of offense given the state of both teams. Chriss is a guy who can put up big numbers in two categories and he should be able to take advantage of the banged up Minnesota frontcourt.
