1. Mo Salah nets double as Liverpool thrash Tottenham

The biggest game of the weekend sees league leaders, Liverpool, travel south to face Tottenham in Saturday’s late match. Liverpool have been absolutely phenomenal this season, and with every matchday, it’s looking increasingly more likely that they will lift the Premier League trophy in May.

Nothing can go wrong for the Reds at the moment — even in the FA Cup when they field a very young side in a Merseyside derby yet still come away victorious. If there’s one man who knows how to put a dampener on Liverpool’s spirits, it’s Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho’s Chelsea side famously won 2-0 at Anfield the last time Liverpool were close to winning the title and the Portuguese manager would love to produce another shock result. A Tottenham win probably won’t change the course of the title race but it will be another notch for Mourinho, which is all the motivation he needs.

Home or away, it’s hard to go against Liverpool this season. Jurgen Klopp’s side have been unbelievably disciplined and no matte what challenges they’ve face they’ve overcome them. This weekend will be no different as the Reds run riot over Tottenham.

Spurs’ have been good going forward under Mourinho but have struggled defensively since he took charge. In 12 matches under Mourinho, Spurs have conceded 19 goals and in many of those games, they’ve been up against sides not known for their goalscoring exploits.

Liverpool are going to have far too much for Tottenham in every area of the pitch but most importantly in attack vs. defense. Mohamed Salah, Saido Mane and Roberto Firmino are going to have a field day in a 5-0 rout of the London club. Salah will bag a double with Mane and Firmino also netting before Jordan Henderson rounds off the scoring.
