DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Fading Mike James was the right move on Tuesday, but this is a much better matchup today with Baskonia. The top of guard is very difficult with everyone having good or great matchups. My top pick is Nick Calathes since he ravaged Zalgiris for 48.75 DraftKIngs points in the first meeting. Shane Larkin has been the most consistent outside of James, but with James only $600 more, I don’t know why you wouldn’t chase that upside instead.

That leaves Lorenzo Brown in the forgotten middle. He was strong on Tuesday and his ankle looks fine. Brown should hit 30 again. You just have to decide if you want the upside of James or the solid and consistent output of Brown and the extra $1,300. There’s enough value at forward to use two top tier guards if you want.

Jimmer followed up his best outing of the season with his worst. Don’t even mess with this. I’m also not messing with the see-saw ride of Thomas Walkup. Lukas Lekavicius is providing about the same output at a more consistent pace for $1,900 less.

Krunoslav Simon had another strong game with Micic out. His upside hasn’t been raised much, but I love that fact that I know I’m getting between 21 and 27 DraftKings points out of him.

The price on Pierria Henry has me looking elsewhere. Vassilis Spanoulis is cheaper and a much more reliable option. Even Alex Renfroe is likely a more stable pick.

For now, Sam Van Rossom is still the starter, but Jordan Loyd may take the job back at some point. I like Van Rossum less with Loyd lurking, but his numbers are still good enough to put out there. I’m also willing to roll the dice with Daniel Hackett since he seems to be fine.

K.C. Rivers has turned out to be a very nice value with Grigonis out. So has Arturas Milaknis. They are splitting the minutes and both are producing enough for the price.
