Duds

Karl-Anthony Towns (vs DEN – $9,900 on DK; $10,400 on FD): Towns is back but not quite back. And it’s a tough matchup against a good Nuggets teams. The salary is high and there are restrictions and limitations to his game right now coming off the injury. There’s more guaranteed value out there on a big night of action.

Domantas Sabonis (at UTA – $7,900 on DK; $9,100 on FD): It’s a back to back for the Pacers and a tough matchup against the Jazz. Sabonis always has double double potential but he’ll be battling Gobert in the paint and that’s no easy task. He likely won’t hurt you because his game is consistent but the ceiling is limited due to the matchup.

Zach LaVine (at MIL – $8,700 on DK; $8,700 on FD): LaVine is an outstanding scorer and the best option on the Bulls. But he’s going up against the Bucks defense and that is no easy task. There’s a chance LaVine will still get his but it won’t come easy and I’m worried about his overall ceiling in this matchup.

Jayson Tatum (vs LAL – $6,900 on DK; $7,600 on FD): Tatum is fairly consistent but this is a tough matchup given the Lakers defense. And if Kemba isn’t there then that will put more pressure on Tatum and more attention. The ceiling is relatively high but I have concerns about his ceiling and even if he’ll reach value in this one.

Donovan Mitchell (vs IND – $7,300 on DK; $6,500 on FD): Mitchell has been disappointing as of late and even though the salary has dipped and the ceiling is high, there are other players on the Jazz who seem to offer more value. Bogdanovic and Ingles offer more consistent value, though their ceiling isn’t quite as high. The matchup doesn’t help Mitchell either.
