DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($7,700): I’ve been playing Beal the last three games because the price was too low. He finally put up huge numbers last night. Sure, the overtime had something to do with it, but Beal had 50 DraftKings points cleared prior to the final stanza. This is our last night we get Beal at a super discounted price. Make it count!

Collin Sexton ($6,500): Sexton has been over 30 DraftKings points in four straight, six of seven, and nine of ten. Even the ones in which he’s missed that mark, Sexton hasn’t missed by much. The upside isn’t all that big, but Sexton is finally reliable enough to look to. He’ll get us what’s expected or somewhere very near it. That can be big on a slate like this.

Honorable Mention:

Jordan McRae ($5,000): Now that McRae’s price isn’t out of control, we can try and see how he fits with Beal. Last night was the first time in their stead together that McRae has topped 30 DraftKings points with Beal playing a full game. They actually looked good together. This is another spot for chemistry building against a below average Cleveland team. McRae could have another nice game alongside Beal here.

Tim Hardaway Jr. ($4,700): THJ has 50.25 DraftKings points in the first two games against Portland. Ww know the drill with Hardaway. He has immense upside and a pretty brutal floor. It’s not as bad now that THJ has a clear path to minutes. This price seems low for a guard against Portland. This could be one of those games where Hardaway comes up big.

Dark Horses:

Delon Wright ($4,200): Wright’s numbers of late don’t support this price, but I’m guessing Portland’s reputation got to the pricing crew over there at DraftKings. We are likely going to have to use a bench guy or two to make things work tonight. Wright should see a slight uptick in minutes with Powell off the court. However, Porzingis returning does change this team. That could hurt Wright. He’s a sizable risk tonight.

Seth Curry ($3,300): Curry was the one that had a big game against Portland last week, racking up 28 DraftKings points. Curry is just a shooter, but against a team like Portland, that should be plenty. Someone with the shooting prowess of Curry at this low of a price is always a tempting dart.
