2. Millwall beat Sheffield United in five goal thriller

Millwall host Sheffield United on Saturday in what should be an entertaining FA Cup tie. These sides met twice in the Championship last season with United winning 3-2 away at The Den and Millwall securing a 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane.

United are a better side now and their impressive Premier League form has taken almost everyone by surprise this season. That means Millwall will have a tough game this weekend but there’s no reason to say that the Lions can’t get one over on the club from the top flight.

The good news for Millwall fans is that they’ve won their last four home games, scoring nine and only conceding once. The bad news for them is that Sheffield United have one of the best away records in the Premier League — losing only to Liverpool and Manchester City.

That suggests that this will be a tight match and that it will be settled by a goal one way or the other. Millwall’s recent run of impressive results and Sheffield United’s solid away form means that we could see some goals this weekend.

Sheffield United don’t have prolific goalscorers amongst their ranks but they have players who will find the net in Oli McBurnie, Lys Mousset and Jon Fleck. That means that Millwall will need to score some goals themselves if they are to progress to the next round.

This will be an exciting matchup with both sides finding the net in the first half to leave it all tied up at 1-1. Sheffield United will take the lead but Millwall will fight back and grab two goals in the final fifteen minutes to win this one 3-2.
