Scrubs

TJ Warren (at POR – $6,000 on DK; $5,900 on FD): Warren can be a tad inconsistent but his ceiling is high and the matchup is right because the Blazers don’t have much to offer when it comes to defense. Warren has a high scoring ceiling, but you’d like to see him do a bit more in other categories. This could be a game where he does a bit more, but regardless, the scoring will be there.

Marcus Morris (vs BKN – $5,900 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Its a back to back for the Nets and they are still the Nets. Not that the Knicks are better, but Morris is a good scorer who can do other things and did I mention that the Nets are just a terribly inconsistent team? Morris should have no problem getting his scoring numbers in this game.

Daniel Theis (at NO – $5,500 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Theis has been playing well for the most part recently and the Pelicans, despite being more energized with Zion, still aren’t a very good team. Theis can do a bit of everything and fits in well in the Boston system, meaning his going to get numbers by proxy of being in a position to succeed.

Kevin Huerter (vs WAS – $5,100 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Huerter’s salary has dropped, which is a good thing because it creeped a little too high. He can be inconsistent but he gets his opportunities alongside Trae. And he’s up against the Wizards, which certainly helps. There’s plenty of potential value in this matchup given respective salaries and the overall lack of defense.

Ish Smith (at ATL – $5,000 on DK; $4,900 on FD): Smith has been more good than bad in recent games and now he has a great matchup against the Haws. As mentioned above, there should be no lack of offense in this game and there are even guys below Smith and Huerter on both teams that you can take a chance on. But Smith is a guy who shouldn’t hurt you and has a high ceiling give the matchup.
