17. player. 123. . Wide Receiver. Dallas Cowboys. Henry Ruggs III

The Dallas Cowboys first order of business this offseason has to be figuring out what to do with two of their biggest offensive stars in quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper. While bringing Prescott back is likely a foregone conclusion, I am not so sure about Cooper, as he is going to want elite money, and is only elite half of the time.

If the Cowboys decide to move on from Cooper,  they will do so in the right draft year, as the draft is loaded with talent at wide receiver. The speediest of the bunch is Henry Ruggs III from Alabama, who would be a perfect addition to an offense that has an elite running back in Ezekiel Elliott, and solid wideouts in Randall Cobb and Michael Gallup.

Ruggs bring something special to the offense, as he not only goes over the middle to make big plays, but can beat anybody deep. With him in the fold, this Cowboys offense will be downright explosive, especially now that they have Mike McCarthy at head coach, and a strong offensive line in front of Prescott.

player. 59. . Cornerback. Miami Dolphins. Kristian Fulton. 18

During the 2019 season, the Miami Dolphins franchise decided it would be smart to part ways with former first round cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick via a trade. In the trade with the Steelers,  the Dolphins were able to get back a first round pick, which they could use at No. 18 overall to replace Fitzpatrick in their defensive backfield.

When it comes to the cornerbacks in this draft class,  there are few that hold a candle to Kristian Fulton from LSU, who is likely slated for the first round. He proved to be a key cog on an LSU Tigers defense that was downright dominant in 2019, and was a big reason why they went undefeated and won the national title.

Head coach Brian Flores is a defensive genius, and he is likely going to want to use at least one of his three first round picks on that side of the ball.  To get a player of Fulton’s caliber this late in round one could prove to be a steal, and it will be interesting to see what the Dolphins do with all this young talent in 2020 and beyond.
