DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Damian Lillard ($10,500): This price may seem high, but Lillard has 246 DraftKings points over the last three games. Three! Few have had an output like that over any three-game stretch in the last several years. This is another great matchup for Lillard. He hasn’t dominated the Rockets this year so far, but can you really argue with his recent numbers?

Russell Westbrook ($10,400): Westbrook has dismantled the Blazers this year, racking up 138.5 DraftKings points in two games. His average is almost that of Lillard and Harden combined in the two games this year. I’m tempted to even use Russ over Lillard, and I will if Harden sits. We should be able to fit both though if that’s the way you want to go.

Honorable Mention:

Kyrie Irving ($9,100): We have seen those that have idolized Kobe have huge games over the last couple of days. Irving was ramped up at practice today. I fully expect him to come out and have one of the best games of his career. There’s no way I’m fading Irving in any lineup tonight. I’ll run one with all three guards. It will be tough, but it can be done.

De’Aaron Fox ($8,100): With so many good point guards above him, Fox could go unnoticed here. This is a good matchup for Fox, but I also don’t know if he has 50 DraftKings points upside right now. The only real reason to use Fox on this slate is for 40-45 DraftKings points at low ownership.

Dennis Schroder ($7,000): It is a little nuts that Schroder costs almost as much as Paul, but he has been more consistent. Paul has the higher upside, but it’s not like Schroder doesn’t have that. There is a little more risk here with Schroder not starting, but he has been the most reliable of the three Thunder guards over the past couple of weeks.

Dark Horses:

T.J. McConnell ($4,900): Digging for value at the point is a difficult endeavor tonight. Even T.J. is only in play if Brogdon sits, and Oladipo will almost certainly poach some of the value. McConnell does have at least 20 DraftKings points in each of the last five games. Brogdon missed four of those. He should still get enough usage with Brogdon out to hit value, but if both Brogdon and Oladipo play, we’ll have to look elsewhere.

Tomas Satoransky ($4,900): It’s an easy pivot to Satoransky if Brogdan can return. Satoransky no longer looks slowed by the ankle. He has 61.25 DraftKings points over the last two games against decent point defenses in Cleveland and San Antonio. I would expect Satoranky to flirt with 30 DraftKings points again, which makes him a solid value pick.

Reggie Jackson ($4,500): Jackson will likely play about 28 minutes in this one, but judging by the 91.5 DraftKings points in 67 minutes since his return, he will have no problems hitting value here. Jackson is a strong value play at this price despite the limited minutes.
